Dieses Modell entstand nur unter Zurhilfenahme von Fotos und diesmal Original Werftzeichnungen. Alle Einzelheiten wurden in meiner eigenen Werkstatt als Unikat von Hand gebaut.  Die URSUS ist einem italienischen Hafenschlepper nachempfunden der einst an den Landungsbrücken in Venedig seinen Liegeplatz hatte.Erbaut mit Originaldokumenten und vielen Fotos.Nun wure sie in den Hafen verlegt und ist somit nicht mehr ohne weitere zugänglich. Durch das Anklicken des Fotos kommt ihr dirkt nach Venedig.

The URSUS is an Italian habour tug - once moored in Venice- Built with original documents and a lot of photos.
You should know that these models are not build in accordance to any kit or similar.I allways have kontact to the owner , take drawings and where ever photos and then I begin to build it.
Der Nachbau solcher Schiffe erfordert außer vielen modellbauerischen Fähigkeiten auch viel Einsatz um sich die Bauunterlagen zu besorgen.Die Unterlagen für die Ursus zu besorgen kostete einiges an Zeit und Nerven. Das Original sah ich auf mehreren Urlaubsreisen und irgendwann kam die Idee es nachzubauen. Also Kontakt mit den Hafenbehörden aufgenommen , diese verwiesen mich an das Schiffahrtsmuseum in Venedig leider konnte man mir hier nicht viel weiterhelfen. Als alles bis zum Nächsten Urlaub verschoben.Aber dann ein kurzes Telefonat mit der Reederei und schon hats geklappt. Das Ergebnis waren weit über 100 Fotos und die Adresse einer Organisation von der ich später auch die Pläne erhielt.Nach fast 3 Jahren Bauzeit wurde die Ursus fertig und weist nun einige Sonderfunktionen aus. Alle Beleuchtungseinrichtungen können wie das Original geschaltet werden, das Beiboot kann zu Wasser gelassen werden, ebenso die beiden Anker. Last but not least nennen meine Modellbaukollegen die URSUS "Musikdampfer" da mittels Kassettenrecorder und Lautsprecheranlage laute Musik erschallt.
The copying of such ships requires a lot of exceptional model building skills and also a lot of time to procure the construction bases. To procure the bases for the Ursus cost a lot in time and nerves. I saw the original on several holidays traveling and whilst there came the idea to copy it. Thus I contacted the harbour authorities, who pointed me to the navigation museum in Venice, unfortunately no one could not help me here a lot. Everything shifted up to the next vacation. But then a short telephone call with the shipping company and hats folded. The result was more than 100 photos and the address of an organization from which I later recieved the plans. After nearly 3-years of construction time the Ursus is finished and now gives some special functions. All lighting equipment can be switched on like the original, the ships boat can be lowered, likewise both anchors. last but not least, my model construction colleagues named the URSUS "music steamboat" by means of cassette recorder and loudspeaker with a loud music arrangement

 Mein neuestes Projekt:Der Radaviso Gulnara der sardischen Marine. Das Foto zeigt ein Modell dieses Schiffes von einem anderen Modellbauer. Zur Zeit habe ich den Rumpf und Deck mit Mahagoni Furnier fertigbeplankt.Jetzt geht es an die Technik. Die Gulnara soll später sowohl mit den Schaufelrädern angetrieben werden als auch segeln können. Sobald ich Bilder der Baustadien habe werden sie hier veröffentlicht.
My recent Project: The Radaviso Gulnara of the Sardischen Navy. The photo shows a model of this ship by another model builder. At the moment I have the trunk and deck with mahogany veneer . Now it goes to the technology. The Gulnara should be driven later with the shovel wheels and it will sail. You will find some pictures of the stages construction at the Gulnara page
 Nach dem bis auf wenige Details mein Gulnara fertiggestellt ist,
